Heidi Konig

Heidi was born in Germany in 1964. In 1990 she enrolled on a Foundation Course in Art and Design at Walthamstow College, and then on to Brighton University to gain her BA. In 1996 she completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Printmaking at slade School of Fine Art in London. Since then she has won numerous awards for her outstanding etchings and monoprints which are sought after by collectors the world over. Influenced by her travels and adventures abroad she says "When I produce work I don't want to recreate a pictorial view of where I have been, but more a sensual one of what I have experienced there."
